programs. On this page, let's continue
to talk about how to build traffic to your
website with some different web promotion
strategies.
1. Post your link in directories
The idea here is to find every related directory
you can get your hands on. How to find them?
Go to Google or your favorite search engine
and type in seo friendly directory list.
2. Write your own FAQ
I read recently that one successful online
marketer always includes a FAQ in his autoresponder
email series. It seems that a lot of times
people have questions but are too embarrassed
to ask. Maybe they think their question is
"dumb" and who wants to ask a dumb
question! So what this guy does is write down
all the questions he can think of about the
product, and answer them. It's an easy way
to put together a short but helpful piece
of promotion. Again, include your affiliate
link in the 'About the author' panel at the
end.
Great idea: Keep a notebook of ideas
to write about -- this makes it easier when
you sit down to write.
3. Exchange links
Swap links with websites of a similar theme
to yours (or even buy one way links).
Which page or pages on your site should you
get the links coming in to? Obviously your
home page is good, but if you have other important
content pages (eg, pages that contain articles
which are based on your keywords)
have some of the links point to these pages
too.
Use different linking text for each page,
with that page's keyword or keywords in the
linking text.
