Since you are rewriting them to some extent, you’ll probably want to choose the formatting option called “Free-flow TEXT”.
By selecting a category, you get all the subtopics as well.
By selecting a subtopic (such as Wealth Building) rather than the more broad topic (in this case, Finance) you get fewer articles – but more targeted content.
GETTING SPECIFIC
If you want very specific topics, scroll down and use the blank panel at the right to type in your keyphrases. But be aware that, the narrower you get, the fewer articles you will receive. Obvious, really, but worth mentioning.
DOWNSIDE
Another cautionary note (so you dont complain to me later, okay?) is that the article writer submits his/her articles into whatever categories they like. Some categories seem to attract more irrelevant entries than others. For example, in Blogging or Internet Business I’ve had a lot of totally off-topic stuff come through. The simple solution is to just delete them from your inbox. Dont waste too much time or energy mouthing off about it ‘coz that isnt very productive.
OVERALL
It’s a nice free service that saves you having to go and research yourself at EzineArticles.com or whatever your favorite articles directory is. For unique content, rewrite the ideas and facts into your own words, at least to some extent. Combine two or three articles into one.

I tried few free software before but I still prefer manual writing…sometimes because of abusive bloggers, automated article submitter and comment posting do more bad than good…

In my humble opinion, it’s quite risky. But if you are looking only for short term benefits, this should work out well. Also, I’m with you about mouthing off if an off-topic article gets through. It’s free!

I’d be careful with that. You might want to use it for creating backlinks (comments, articles) but for your blog I’d suggest writing everything yourself.

If you allow that software to work with you, it’s like cheating your readers. Manual writing is still the best thing to do, you can be proud anytime people say that your writing is very good because you’re the one who really wrote it.

Yeah this is a good technique. I always believe in creating Genuine articles but yes getting ideas from other articles is interesting. I will try out their software and see if it’s useful for me or not. Thank you.

This is good for creating backlinks by posting the content on web 2.0 sites. For your own blog or page, it’s always better to have unique content.

I would use this method to create “filler” material, while having my own articles as my frontline offering. It is well known that the searech engine spiders give your site or blog more authority for more content (the sweet spot is about 100 pages)
So the trick is to write about 20 – 30 pages worth of your own unique content, and to fluff out the balance with article directory articles and the like. Always remeber that you will get penalised for duplicate content, so tweaking your filler articles to appear unique is very important for good search engine rankings!

I use Ezine articles and do just as you suggest. Select several articles and combine the content and rewrite to end up with a completely new article. After doing this for a while it becomes evident that some of the articles in the bank are sub quality and a rewrite adds quality to the article bank.
