The Internet Brings The World To Your Fingertips

I’ve been a computer geek since as long as I remember, when my dad brought home our first home microcomputer when I was a kid in 1985. Things were very different then, and now as technology jumps by massive leaps every year, we can do so much with a computer and find the answers to practically any question because of the internet.

From the corner computer workstation in my home office, I can switch on the computer and immediately have access to chatting with people all over the world, play some games with friends overseas, connect to my friends and see what’s happening, or check for updates on baseball scores. I can find the answer to a riddle, learn the history of coffee. Practically anything I want I can find without leaving my desk.

The internet opens up a whole new level of professional possibilities. If you’re thinking of ways to make money online, there’s millions of things you can do. Great opportunities are everywhere, and most are things you’d never get a chance to hear about normally. The net brings these connections right to you.

Some lucky people have managed to find ways of making passive income online while they earn their active income at work. You can do this by selling intellectual property, selling electronic books you’ve written, and more. Since the web’s open 24 hours a day, whether you’re awake or not, you can be earning. Kids are growing up in this age of the internet and it’s good to get them used to using it when they’re young.
